I would like to say a massive “Thank You” to all the members who supported our lovely Cheese and Wine Event last Saturday. Although numbers were a little lower at 28 (perhaps being a Saturday effected some), we still made a £100 profit (£42 on event and £58 on the draw)! Ticket prices were held at £7 despite the massive increase in food costs, especially cheese.

If you missed this event or were unable to be there, don’t worry we have another social event coming real soon – this time on a Wednesday after Club Night. At this event (details below) you can bowl and eat/drink, watch and eat/drink, or just eat/drink – there’s no pressure either way! We would love to see some new faces and some of our long standing members, you’re always welcome. YOUR CLUB needs you as they say, your support for these events really helps us with the day to day increasing running costs of the Club. We want all our members to enjoy their bowling throughout the season at whatever level and the socialising so thank you all in advance.

Event Details
Remember those “Cornish Pasties”? Wow, best ever… well they are back. Yes! freshly made, freshly baked authentic Cornish Pasties coming up from Cornwall on the day for your enjoyment!

The Date Wednesday 12th July at 6 pm for bowling (register at 5.45pm) or the Pasties at about 7.30pm. The theme is “Pirates and Pasties”; fancy dress optional with a prize for the best eye patch worn! £5 per person, draw and the bar open!!!

Let’s make this a mid summer bumper attendance for you all to enjoy. Names on the list on Social Notice Board or to Joyce and payment the usual ways! Please indicate if you are bowling as well.
