Dear Members
Our final two Internal Club Competition Semi Finals were played yesterday and now it’s all systems go to “Our Club Big Day” this coming Saturday 2nd September!
The action begins around 10am start with SEVEN Club Finals to play, enjoy and watch. The day normally goes until about 5pm when there will be presentations. Our Captain Adrian will be publishing the running order schedule asap, once he works out fitting it all into the day! We will publish that playing order and Finalists on a Blog as soon as we know it.
The Internal Competitions are a big part of our bowling season and enjoyed by the many players who enter. These players have worked very hard since April to play their rounds and win matches and qualify, so your support would be very welcome indeed. As Spectators and Club Members you can pop in, pop out, return, or stay all morning or all afternoon (or if you are really keen all day); that would be fantastic! The more spectators the better the day for all concerned at this “Big Club Finals Event”.
Refreshments (rolls, cake, tea and coffee) will be available to purchase and the Bar will be open from about 1130am, should be a little “dry”. We are looking forward to a great day of bowling, close matches, a good atmosphere and your support that will really make the day go well.
Thank you in advance, I’m looking forward to seeing you all!
