With our BIG Finals Day tomorrow Saturday 10-5pm (last call for your spectator support) our Bowling season does not end until the very end of September! We have 3 more Big Events coming for your enjoyment and everybody including newer members are very welcome.

The first is Captains Day, Sunday 17th September 1pm Start, Ladies V Gents. This is organised by Ladies Captain Susan and Mens Captain Adrian.

The format and details are:

1pm start, Players please be there at least 15 minutes before. Theme is Mexican and there are prizes for the best “Mexican fancy dress and best rink on the day”!

Food after will feature Chicken or Vegetable Fajitas and Dessert (about 4-30pm) all for a total cost of £7 pp. Please pay in the usual way with ref Capts Day!

Please sign up on the Notice Board with names (the list is up in the Clubhouse already) either to play or – if not playing and you are a spectator – sign for Food only if required please. Spectators very welcome at this “Fun Event “. Our bar will be open as usual for you (all afternoon and early evening) to wash the Mexican food down. Should be a lovely afternoon!!!

Two more Dates to jot down in September details will follow in the next week or two.

Sunday 24th September “The Bridle Trophy” all welcome. This is an annual Club Trophy to have a go at winning. (An all day event)

Saturday 30th September about 2pm ! This is sadly our FINAL outdoor bowl of the fantastic 2023 season (Green Closed for the winter) so a good turn out is always appreciated! More details to follow there will be bowling followed yet some more food, drinks and socialising!
