After keeping a close eye on the weather forecast over the last few days with a final check this morning, the predicted weather forecast for tomorrow is not looking good with heavy rain forecast at 1’o’clock. In addition, showers are expected continuosuly from 10am until 3pm in the afternoon. (Met Office)

In view of the expected rainfall which is not ideal for bowling and may even render the green unplayable, it has been decided to postpone Captains Day until Saturday 30th September.

Captains Day will now replace the Green Closure event planned for the 30th September.

Hopefully, the weather will be kind on Saturday 30th!
