Hi All, 

After our successful first season in the B&D, gaining promotion from Div 5 to Div 4, we are asking members if they would like to form a second team next season to enter Div 6 . These leagues are mixed ladies & men, so open to all.

Last season we had 17 players, who all played at various times to make up the 2 triples teams of 6 players each week. We play home & away, starting at 10am & playing 18 ends, normally finishing 12.15/12.30.

If we enter a second team, we are suggesting we have a squad of 10 players for each team, where we will rotate the players around in the squad, playing 2 games out of every 3, depending on numbers & who is available each week.

Therefore, we need a minimum of 20 players in total, to be confident in entering the second team.

Dereck Pickering has offered to captain the team in Div 4, so we also need a captain for the other team if we enter.

All of the 17 players from last year are keen to play, with a few wanting to play possibly 1 game in 3, similar to last year, but others keen to play most weeks if possible.
