Although the Green is still “tender” due to the excessive rain the Club will be opening from 11-00am Saturday 13th April. The Committee has decided that protective nets will be used throughout April in order to protect our main asset and Saturday will be a good opportunity to not only re-kindle bowling friendships but also to learn the correct way to position and lay the nets prior to bowling. The weekly roll ups and Wednesday Club Nights are being temporarily suspended to avoid overuse of the green. Hopefully we will be back to normal very soon. Please note that visits to the Green for individual or couples and small group practice are welcome. The bar is stocked, so why not come along on Saturday, meet up with colleagues and refresh your knowledge on how best to keep our Green in tip top condition. George.
