Club Competitions Grand Finals Day

Saturday 1st September 2018 between 10am and 5-6pm

Dear Members

You are all invited, at anytime during the Finals Day above, to come along cheer, applaud (no shouting till game is over please) and encourage our Club Finalists in their games. These are your fellow members and friends so support for them is vital.

Starting at the end of April these competitions have been going on all season with great games and results and now we know who is playing whom. Attached (CLICK HERE) and listed below is our “Running Order of Play” and information, put together by Club Captain Peter Barnes who I would like to personally thank for all his hard work and efforts on these competitions. This is a “Big Day” in Our Club Season and the more supporters who turn up the better the occasion is for all concerned.

If any of you can please spare an hour or two, or of course longer, I’m sure you will be treated to some very good and exciting bowling to watch and observe. Tea and Coffee supplied during the day but why not bring along drinks/snacks, rest up and enjoy the day. The Finalists will be wearing “Whites”, our only Club Internal Event in which these are worn which makes for the whole occasion. Sadly as a spectator myself this year, I am looking forward to seeing you all there and hopefully at the Presentation at the close of all games.

THE TIMING OF THE AFTERNOON MATCHES MAY ALTER TO ALLOW PLAYERS IN MULTIPLE FINALS SUITABLE REST PERIODS, OR IF MATCHES ARE COMPLETED EARLY.

ALL FINALISTS AND OFFICIALS FOR AFTERNOON MATCHES NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO START 30MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED START TIMES.

DRESS CODE FOR ALL FINALISTS WILL BE CLUB SHIRTS AND WHITES. MARKERS WILL BE ALL WHITES, WITH MEN WEARING CLUB TIES AND BLAZERS.
