As our outdoor bowling season draws to a close a reminder of the last bits of action for September for you to enjoy.
We have the usual Roll Ups Monday 17th Sept at 2 pm and Fri 21st Sept at 2 pm. Club Night Wed 19th at 5-30 pm and our Final Bowling Day on Saturday 22nd Sept at 2pm. This will take the form of Casual Bowling (casual clothing) starting at 2pm followed by a Fish and Chip Tea at about 4-15 to 4-30 pm. Non bowlers welcome of course and names onto our list on the Notice Board asap for food, but list will close after Club Night on 19th Sept. This will be your last chance to enjoy outdoor bowling this season and socialise with friends? (NB.The food order will be placed on Thurs 20th Sept so any cancellation after that date will have to be paid for, sorry even if not able to attend.)
Sunday 23rd at 9am is our Closing Work Party. Many volunteers required please for putting our equipment away and tidying up ready for the winter break. The more of you able to help the easier and quicker work gets done, especially with all the lifting. Also if anybody has spare sandpaper or an electric sander please bring along, as we hope to sand down out black benches and main gates ready for painting in October? This would be great help. Please try and come along even for an hour or so appreciated and thank you in advance!
There will be an October Blog with Winter Social Events but here are some heads up advance notice. (These details will appear in our Autumn Newsletter all receive a copy in October)
