Busy Week at Your Bowling Club

Hello everybody, its April and we have a busy week at our/your bowling club as the new 2019 bowling season gets underway!

Today 23rd April at 2pm Ladies Practice Session, then at 5-30 pm its the turn of the Mens Practice Session. These sessions are open to all players and are not restricted to league bowlers only? Following our pre season friendlies with Totton B. C. its a good way to get your own game improved and bring your personal bowling standards along, Ladies and Gents.

Tomorrow 24th April at 11am.There is a coaching session with Coach Janet Ballard from Waterside B.C. for both ladies and gents. Please you must book your names by today latest, on the Ladies Notice board to attend but again open to all members? Last years session received excellent feedback from members.  Then at 5-30pm it will be our regular “Weekly Club Night” and I would be delighted to see as many as possible there for these enjoyable evenings.

Thursday 25th April at 5-30pm. This is the second Mens Practice Session the same format as Tuesday? Try and get along please to give the Captains an indicator of your interest for 2019 Bowling.

Friday 26th April 2pm. This is the usual casual Friday Roll Up for those who enjoy these sessions and then on Saturday 27th April, Malcolm and Lotty are hosting a “taster session (mini open day) event” for members of the Community Centre Table Tennis Group at 2pm. The latter event has plenty of help so is for information only.

Reminder 11th May is our own Club Open Day 10am to 4pm time for you to encourage your friends, family and neighbours to come upon, join us and “have a go at bowls”. More details on this will be coming up.
