The Bridle Trophy, Captains Day, Team Photographs.

The Bridle Trophy

Due to a very busy program of bowling in August it has been proposed to postpone the Bridle Trophy from its original date of Sunday 26th August 2019. This will free up players for urgent competitions games and mens league games to be played? (Please see next “post” for the new re-arranged date)

Captains Day

Our “Annual Captains Day” will take place on Saturday 7th September open to all bowlers in a mixed format? This day is usually popular with players and is open to all full members, irrelevant of experience. This year we are going to combine the day with The Postponed Bridle Trophy and please note the start time has now changed from the original published. Arrival for 10-30am ready for the games to start at 11 am promptly? Please bring your own lunch (there will be a break for this) and drinks are available, upon donation, or bring your own if you prefer. The finals will round off  for a middle to late afternoon normal finish time. Dress will be (as its a Trophy) club shirts and greys, we welcome as many of you to play as possible to round off our last big bowling season event? Please check out the notice in our Clubhouse for names to go down and the shut off date? (Non playing guests very welcome)

Team Photographs

It is proposed to take Team Photographs at 0945am on our Club Finals Day, Saturday 31st August 2019, at the club of course. This applies to ALL League Players 2019, if you have only played in any league game (even just one game), 1st and 2nd Teams, Ladies and Gentlemen. Dress is Club Shirts and Greys for photo. (If not bowling you can always change back to casual clothing to watch any Competition games, or prepare for your competition if in a Final, where your Dress will need to be “whites” to play)

NB. We, of course, fully respect any player NOT wanting to have their photography taken.
