Notice is Hereby Given of a Special General Meeting to be held on 23rd March 2022, at the Drama Centre Hall (next door) of the Lyndhurst Sports and Social Club commencing at 7.30pm. (Jot the date in your diaries!)

The meeting is for the members of each of the Sports/Social Sections (Bowls, Tennis and Drama) to have the opportunity to vote for a new LSSC Trustee, to replace Martyn Ashmead, who is standing down as the Trustee representing the Bowls Section of the Club.

The replacement for Martyn’s vacancy is George Bisson, who has been a member of our Bowls Club for a very long time. George is very experienced in his knowledge and understanding of the LSSC and in particular of the needs of the Bowls Section. George is also well known to the other Trustees of the LSSC, very well known in the Lyndhurst Community and is therefore an ideal person to undertake the role of a Trustee.

It is important that the Bowls Club Members support George’s standing for the vacant Trustee position. We would therefore welcome as many of the Bowls Club members to attend this meeting to give George their support. This meeting will only be a short one for the election but your support for George is important so thanking you in advance. As a Club, our grateful thanks go, of course to George for stepping forward to represent us all as our Elected Trustee.
