With the sun shinning and Spring in the air its now very near to the opening of your green at the Lyndhurst Bowling Club 2019! We will open on Saturday 13th April at 2pm with your truly rolling the first wood? Of course we would love to see as many as possible of you for a go and to “get into the bowling mood.”

Before that we have an important “Work Party” morning this coming Saturday 6th April at 9 am start! The committee would love a really good turn out please to get those prep jobs done so we are all ready to go a week later. There is a little bit of painting, some sweeping and mats laying into the surround ditches of the green. Weeds to control on slabs. Also cleaning in the club house and changing rooms, getting out the outdoor furniture and …. some turf laying (not on the green ) as you will see when you turn up. Anybody Ladies and Gents, Social and Retained members can come along, for as long as possible, obviously the more that do turn up the easier things get done so please help if you can? I would really appeal to you all just a little bit of your time please, would be so beneficial to “Your Club” to cover these jobs.
