Xmas Greetings From Your President.

Dear Members

As I write this “post” our New Forest Area goes into a new Covid “restrictions” level! I thought therefore I would try and at least bring a little “Bowling Cheer” to you all at this time?

I am conscious of the lack of our usual winter social events and obviously seeing less of our members and friends. Could I please on behalf of your committee and myself, extend warmest Xmas Seasons Greetings to you all. Naturally for many of us including myself, we are unable to enjoy our Christmas this year with close family and friends being together because of the restrictions in place. Unfortunately just another awful part of this horrible Covid time and 2020 Covid Year we’ve had! I am like most of you I’m sure, trying to be positive and “Bowling Optimistic.” With just over 3 months to go I am desperately hoping we will have a better bowling year and season for us all, or as many as possible, of our valued Lyndhurst Bowling Club Members.

Can I please wish you all well in your health, stay safe, be careful and fingers crossed for April and Bowling?

John (President)

PS: Thank you all for co-operating with your postal votes in re electing all your committee and accepting all the other important matters. “Welcome Video” If you haven’t looked at it yet, its on the Home Page of our Website (2 and a bit minutes) and has been received really well so far with 68 viewings in 6 weeks? Get any family, friends or neighbours to check it out if interested. Some further filming hopefully this season to add! (John H.)

A very merry Christmas to all bowlers everywhere, here’s hoping 2021 will bring good joy. I never thought I would miss bowling as much as I have, but next year lets bowl our socks off if covid allows.
    Regards Mike Redding
