Dear Members

Hopefully you will have received details and information about our 2021 AGM that is on Thursday 25^th November 2021 at The Lyndhurst Community Centre. Time is 7pm for a sharp 7-15 start and it’s in the Linden Hall, the large hall. (Face coverings advised but not compulsory). Members will recall this could not take place in person in 2020 due to the Covid Pandemic Restrictions. The AGM evening includes reports, election of your committee for 2022, Club Internal Competitions and Club Member of the Year Presentations.  Your personal details envelope contains all the information you need for the AGM. Please support “your club” – a good attendance on the night would be great!

Afterwards to celebrate our bowling year end, many members adjourn to the Non Descripts Club next door for a drink (if you are not a Nondies club member you can be signed in by Bowls/Nondies members, all very welcome)

Saturday 18^th December 2021 (2pm-4pm): Mulled Wine and Mince Pies Social at Lyndhurst Community Centre (Pine Hall)
This is a chance to pop in, enjoy the Xmas festivities with members and have a good chat. This event is hosted by the Club for your enjoyment, no fee to pay!

Friday 29^th January 2022: Burns Night at Lyndhurst Community Centre
Colin Firth our Club Secretary is getting together a “Table of Guests” or two tables and you would be welcome to join his table/s. (This is not organised by the Bowling Club but for those interested in “Burns Night” the club is happy to support the evening) Please contact Colin directly for details.

Thursday 10^th February 2022 7pm-9-30pm: Men’s Meeting At The Lyndhurst Community Centre
Organised by Captain Adrian Goddard this is for ALL Male members to get together and discuss the 2022 Season. Refreshments, drinks and food are available for this evening. Club and NFBA Competitions will be discussed, but stress you do not need to be a League Player to attend, we welcome ALL Men as mentioned, especially newer members!

Saturday 12^th February 2022 (1030am): Ladies Meeting At The Club House 
ALL lady members are invited to attend to discuss the 2022 season and any matters relating to the Ladies Section.

Friday 25^th February 2022 7pm- 10-30pm: Quiz and Fish and Chips Supper At The Lyndhurst Community Centre (Bring your own drinks)
This is a revival of our popular quiz and supper where groups of members and their guests (most welcome) come together for a fun evening! Get your team together or we can help with teams but please all very welcome.

Saturday 26^th March 2022 7pm: Skittles at The Lyndhurst Community Centre (Bring your own drinks) 
The Skittles Event has always been a favourite social event. Again, all members welcome plus any guests to bring along, more details in the New Year!

Friday 29^th April 2022: Race Night at The Lyndhurst Community Centre 7pm: (Buffet but please bring your own drinks)
When we held this last time it proved to be one of our most successful social and fun evenings for our Club. The event is open to all members and their guests with more details provided nearer the date next spring.
