It has been four and a half weeks since we reseeded and applied top dressing onto our Green. As you can see its gone really well with excellent growth of the new seed and the top dressing being watered down. In fact our curator “Adrian” recommended a high cut which took place last Friday in sunny weather, with Steve Hall our grounds man and bowler filling 2 and a half garden bags of grass clippings (with me following him around on the Green with the bags to help with the collection of clippings!)

We hope as the winter progresses and with other treatments planned, our green and playing surface will come out better in the Spring when we start our outdoor season, fingers crossed…
