We have managed to secure a coaching opportunity for beginners from our Lyndhurst Club with Bowls Hampshire qualified bowling coaches!
The date is Wednesday 13th April 2022, location is at: The Chawton Indoor Bowling Club, Chawton Park Road, Alton, Hants, GU34 1 RF, between 9-30am and 4-30pm. (suggest car sharing). The cost will be £20 per person. There are 24 places available and coaching will be provided by 4 qualified instructors. This will include, small groups, some one to ones, advice on stance, techniques, bowling delivery, grip, rules and much more. It will also include videoing of those attending and constructive individual feedback.

This is a marvellous opportunity for those of you who are beginners or are fairly new to bowling at our Club, (say 1st to 2 year bowlers) and will be very helpful with your confidence and knowledge of the game? Although its at an Indoor Club, please don’t be put off as this can be an advantage. Such as weather is not affecting the coaching, you can remain focused, warm and all this often helps with individuals attention on the coaching taking place? Bowls coaching is very hard to arrange so thanks to Colin Firth our Club Secretary who has pursued this coaching event to take place. We Need You !!!!!!

Please support this opportunity and express your interest and book via Colin Firth directly by Friday 18th March 2022! Colin is collating numbers and liaising (remember 24 places available). Colin will be in attendance on the day. In respect of refreshments there may be some available but would recommend taking your own just in case. If the event is successful we also have an assurance from the coaching organiser, that later during this season they would be able to attend our Club at Lyndhurst and carry out an outdoor coaching session with us on grass!
