Green Opening:

This Saturday 9th April, 1-45pm for a 2pm start! Casual wear, bowling shoes, the starting draw will be made on the day. All welcome.

Thank you to all those who turned up for the ”Work Party” last Saturday and all to those who have done jobs during the close season. The Green, Clubhouse and Grounds are all looking in good condition so the help is very appreciated.

Saturday Club League

This will commence on Saturday 16th April 9-45 am for a prompt 10 am start. All welcome, all levels and you DO NOT have to attend every Saturday! The rules will be explained on your attendance by Dereck and Neil.

Rink 4/5 and Protective Nets.

Members will see a very small area of the Rink 4 Green, at the ”Gate” end has been re seeded. We ask no casual play/practice play during April please to allow the seed to take hold. To protect our Green in soft early season conditions, Protective Nets are to be used for ALL Bowling please in April.

Woods For Sale (+ 1 Pair of Shoes)

We have 4 Sets of good condition ”Woods” For Sale all priced at £40 the money all goes to our Club Funds. They are Taylor Elite size 00, Almark Commander size 4 Heavy, Hensilite Classic size 4 medium, Hensilite Classic size 4 Heavy and a pair of Brown Bowling Shoes nearly new, size 5 and a half! These are all in the Clubhouse for inspection or try out. If interested please contact me?

Cleaning Rota

This is now displayed in the Clubhouse and we ask all members to check their ”Duty Week” when you are needed to help out? (This is only once a season!)

Second Hand Books.

The committee have decided that the second hand books for sale are to be dis continued, removed from the clubhouse and donated to our Community Centre. In recent years, the books have remained static, little or no income has been made and the space can be better used!
