Open Day

Our club Open Day is next Saturday 28th May 10-4pm! Thank you to all of you who have volunteered to help on the day, very kind of you. We now need our ”Final Push” to encourage anyone we know to come along and have a go! So last plea please to members, ask anyone you think might be interested to pop along on the day, its the Bowls England Big Bowls Weekend too. We always need new members to keep our club alive and active. If they are unable to make next Saturday then bring them any other suitable time or just contact me please.

Lyndhurst Platinum Jubilee Event, Wellands Road Lyndhurst football pitch, Saturday 4th June 1pm to 4 pm!
Colin and Sue Firth and Marie Smith are running our stall which should attract a large crowd. However they are looking for 5-6 other members to help out any time between 1pm and 4 pm, on our stand ? Theres a fun element with a bowls game but also just to promote our club too! (I am present but in charge of car parking) So two hats on for me that day but I’m about. Please if you could spare an hour to help out we would be very grateful so it doesn’t full on three people. Please contact Colin or myself if you could help out, thank you.

Club Cleaning Rota

A reminder to check the club notice board to see when its your turn to do the cleaning? (this is only ONCE a season) FAQ’s When do we do the cleaning ? A. Sunday mornings 9am. Do we contact the others in our group of three.? A Yes always a good idea to speak so you remind each other etc. What cleaning do we have to do? A Its all explained on the Rota Notice on the board. How long will it take? A If all three people crack on its will only take about an hour. What happens if I cant make it on that day? A Please contact Neil Calderwood asap who will re- arrange another date for you to clean !

Once again we are all grateful for a clean Club House, Toilets and Changing Rooms so lets ALL do our bit, once a season and help your fellow members and yourselves on these small tasks!
