Please note that there will be NO Saturday League next Saturday 28th May due to the Club Open Day! It will resume 9-45 am Saturday 4th June.

So far this popular League has attracted 28 individuals (men and ladies) and each week attracts between 12-20 players! My thanks go to Dereck Pickering and Neil Calderwood who organise and run this activity. Dereck has asked to remind you ”Why not come along and have a go, its fun, it helps with your techniques and practice and lasts about two hours?” You are NOT required to be there each Saturday, as long as you attend a few sessions during the season you will score on the points table. (I have been to a few sessions myself and thoroughly enjoyed the morning even when I’ve lost) Leading player so far is none other than our grounds man Steve Hall who is doing very well and not lost when he attends! Well done Steve.

Why not support this activity within our Club you might be surprised how much its a good morning. Open to all except the really new players. Come On Club League Players get those bowls skills into use on Saturday morning to help with your match performances?
