Some latest information news and details of events coming up some this week!

This Friday 6th July we have our monthly Friday Fish and Chips and Bowls Evening. Bowling for those who want to begins around 5-30pm with Fish and Chips around the 7pm time. Please come along for this friendly, social and fun event. Very important, your names have to be on the club notice Board by the latest this coming Wednesday 4th July for ordering purposes so please get your names down asap if you can.

Followed on Saturday next day, 7th July we have our second Open Day of the year? Please could I ask members to come along for an hour or two ready to help and encourage any guests or new comers to bowl?. Anytime between 10am and 4 pm please no notice has gone up but just turn up either am, lunch or pm. Also please encourage any would be bowlers, family friends or neighbours to come along and give Bowls a try?

Finally a BIG Reminder that we have our 90th Celebration BBQ Bowls and Get Together Afternoon and Evening on Saturday 21st July 2018? Bowlers (only friendly) start around 2pm with the BBQ and Socialising round about 5pm. Join your fellow members, friends and all and lets make this a really big celebration! There is a list of names on the Club Notice Board which desperately needs more people to make this go with a swing and be successful. Get this in your diaries choose your meal choice and names down. Members and Family and friends all very welcome to come along with BYOG on the drinking front.

NB. (Please could I ask members, as we have a clash with a Drama Performance that evening , to be dropped off, walk, or park cars in the main car park or the top of The Meadows. This does not have to be done until after the bowling around 5 pm ready for the socialising part of the day. There is no parking that day for us on the front car park, sorry, which must be left clear for Drama. If we move cars later it clears the road for theatre goers when they arrive.) Your co-operation on this matter is greatly appreciated and thank you.
